ABU STAMP LAUNCH HELD ON 22ND JANUARY
2013 AT THE SHEHU MUSA YAR DUA
CENTER-ABUJA
The ABU stamp Launch seemed to be one of the best stamp launch event held
in Nigeria recently with the attendant of a former Head of State Alhaji Shehu
Shari. Also in attendant was the Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria, Kaduna State and
several Professors, Lecturers and staff of the University. A member of the House
of Representative represented The Hon. Speaker of the House. The Sultan of
Sokoto was represented by a traditional Head within the Abuja surburb. Nipost
staff and Philatelist including Edet Akpan (Eddy) were also present.
Philatelic sells was so great as almost every participant ( most non
collectors) scrabbled to lay their hands on the Newly Released Stamps and
souvenir items. If there is any issue I can give an answer to I will be oblige
to do.
